What to expect from our Shark Cage Diving activity

Our shark diving activity gets you up close and personal with mako and blue sharks from the safety of our shark cage.

No experience is required, as our shark cage has floats that sit on the water’s surface. That being said, shark diving is not for the faint-hearted!

But it’s not all heart-stopping stuff. During the 3-4 hour scenic trip, you may also get to see dolphins, albatross and schooling fish, and will have the opportunity to do some fishing.

Shark Cage Diving – Essential Information

• Shark diving is available from November to April.
• No experience is required for shark diving.
• Wetsuits, snorkels and masks are provided by Dive Tatapouri.
• Bookings are essential for shark diving.
• Shark diving availability is dependent on the weather.
